MADRID, 18 March (EUROPA PRESS) –

Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) militia launched rockets from the Gaza Strip into Israeli territory this Saturday. The bullet fell in a deserted area of Nahal Oz and did not cause any personal damage.

The launch took place on the eve of the Sharm el-Sheikh security summit, which will meet Palestinian and Israeli representatives this Sunday in a bid to ease tensions ahead of Ramadan, which begins on Wednesday, due to the lack of medium-term prospects. .

The attack will be a response to the deaths of four Palestinians during Israel’s covert operation in the West Bank city of Jenin last Thursday.

This incident occurred after no rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip for a week and a half. Last Wednesday, a bulldozer drove over it and detonated an explosive device near the Gaza border fence.

The Israeli army responded with artillery fire at the Hamas military post, and a military spokesman confirmed that there were no casualties among the soldiers. Two Palestinians were slightly injured.
